Treatment Support Specialist

We are seeking one?part time?Treatment Support Specialist?member (TSS). We are a 24/7 facility offering three different shift times in order to accommodate the needs of our clients. TSS support our counseling team in providing clinical interventions, supporting treatment goals, and offering emotional support to our clients in order to sure the greatest benefit to their treatment stay. This position is ideal for an experienced clinical technician or someone looking to gain valuable clinical skills to start their career in mental health or addiction treatment.

About Our Company

Duffy?s is a part of Acadia Healthcare?a provider of inpatient behavioral healthcare services. Acadia operates a network of over 500 behavioral healthcare facilities with approximately 14,190 beds in 37 states, the United Kingdom and Puerto Rico. Acadia provides psychiatric and chemical dependency services to its patients in a variety of settings, including inpatient psychiatric hospitals, residential treatment centers, outpatient clinics and therapeutic school-based programs.

Primary Objective:??? To provide a number of different services to registered and prospective clients who are either in treatment or considering treatment for drug or alcohol abuse.

Key Responsibilities:????

  • Orient new clients to the facility and support medical staff in supervising clients during detox and throughout their stay.
  • Assist counseling staff with clinical interventions.
  • Document clinical progress on clients by writing comprehensive progress notes.
  • Walking rounds of facility to ensure client safety and program participation
  • Facilitate a variety of groups (education, community meetings, experiential classes)
  • Guide clients through the appropriate processes upon arrival and discharge
  • Provide crisis management
  • Schedule speakers for A.A. / N.A. Meetings
  • File preparation for doctor appointments
  • Monitor client medications
  • File auditing and maintaining HIPPA compliance
  • Manage merchandise
  • Assist kitchen and maintenance staff in stocking duties
  • Weekly participation in supervision group to support emotional health and team building
  • Other duties as assigned

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
